About "Nana"..
This is the story of two girls with the same name and the same age that meet on the train for Tokyo.. begin so their friendship and their living together in the apartment 707, to start a new life and persue their dreams..
Nana Oosaki is a punk rock vocalist, "the singer with ambitions". She like Sid Vicious and Sex Pistols, the cigarettes Seven Stars, Vivienne Westwood's fashion style and accessories. Her dream is to become famous with her own band, the Black Stones (Blast).
Nana Komatsu is a pretty and romantic girl, "the earnest girl struck in love", she belive in the destiny and her dream is to find the big love. For her character fond and expansive Nana Oosaki have nicknamed her Hachi, that in Japan is a typical dog name XD.
This is also a 'game of words' because on Japan they pronounce 7 = Nana and 8 = Hachi ^^
